A Good Start

The beginning of my classroom! I thought I would share, although I have a lot of things in lamination, I will post more pictures when the embellishments are made! Can you tell I love color and the theme is birds!
Birds to me are SO special, they are used in the Bible to represent freedom, to know that God protects us and takes care of us; it will be constant reminder to not worry and to always know that He will not give me more than I can handle! Here comes the 6th grade year!

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? (Matthew 6:25-27).

Lottery Cards for my classroom! If they hand in all homeworks given in the week they will win one of these!

I thought close up of animal faces would help stress the cleanliness of the table trashcans!! I chose 6 animals, one of them being Jovi's nose!

I also number all the desks so when I ask student questions I can pull popsicle sticks! Helps it to be random!

All my Ron Clark rules, I am posting a lot more this year! I have 14 of the 55 Essential Rules up!

Thanks to Target and Michaels I am able to get stuff pretty cheap, but comes out pretty nice!
Basket- $1
Ribbon- the whole roll was $1 and it covered about 5 baskets!
Button- I bought a pack of 200 for $4
And my birthday pale!!!
More to come......

School starts Wednesday! :o)
